Two New Melodies

This morning while worshiping at the piano, two distinct melodies came forth. The Holy Spirit revealed me an interpretation for each one. Through the first one I felt him saying “I want to drop in”. It sounded like sweet drops of rain. While playing the second melody, I saw big waves coming in from the ocean rolling onto the beach. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that these were waves of judgment. When I tried to intercede, pleading for mercy, he replied, “This is my mercy. Without revelation of my judgment there is no repentance.

There is a big difference between soft rain in the woods and a big salt water waves at the beach. Nothing grows where the waves hit the beach. There is death, whereas in the woods, in the rain, there is new growth and life.

We need to repent of trying to control the Holy Spirit. He wants to fall on us anew from an open heaven, but instead He finds us looking up toward Him through a sky light that He won't penetrate. We rather have sanitized churches, than having him drench us with his outpouring.
To make room for the Holy Spirit we have to die to our agenda, to our plans, to our organization, to our direction, to our desires, to our self-made walls of “protection” and trust – by faith – in Jesus alone, as the Master Builder of the coming revival.

Maranatha, come soon, Lord Jesus!
